Romain Cadot is a French guitarist and composer born in 1995 in Leuven, Belgium. He started music at the age of eight and attempted composition when he was twice as old.
He started his studies of classical guitar at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel in 2013 in the class of Antigoni Goni, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2019.
In parallel to his classical guitar studies, he also started studies of composition at the same institution in 2015 in the class of Jurgen De Pillecyn, where he graduated cum laude in 2021.Â
Romain Cadot has won first prize in the Belfius Classics competition in 2013.
